just recently re-booted my PC...
got a virus, it went Koo-Koo, and a friend made it like brand new again...even better than before.
so now I have the newest programs, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, ect.. and Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Image Ready...

now the problem,
any .pdf file that opens in Adobe has a grey & white checker board background...whats the problem???

I can barely make out the words on the page. I've tried changing the 'swatches' 'style' 'layer' 'color' ...NOTHING WORKS!!!

I barely know anything about Adobe, so I will need step by step instructions, please...

I didn't have Adobe before it was fixed, any downloaded files would just open in 'Word'

Plz solve this.
