Hi, I am new to this forum. I am a 21 year old male who has just recently decided to study web design. My friend in New York is studying web design, so I decided to see what was about, and it caught my attention. Now, the closest thing I have found to web design where I live is a CIS( Computer Information Systems)- Internet Specialist Web Site Design. According to this site, http://www.chattcollege.com/Default...mid=106&xmfid=2
, the degree is an Associate of Applied Technology degree. What is the difference between getting an associate degree in web design for a an A.A.S. and A.A.T? Which one is better and which one will help your credits to be transferred into another college to get a bachelors? The classes are completed in a quarter, since each couse is about 2 hours long, longer than the courses that are completed in a semester. Is this a real associate degree? I know I am going for a bachelor's, but would it be possible to find a job, part-time, for example, with this degree? What other courses are VERY important for web design that aren't mentioned on this site? Oh yeah, I do not know anything about web design right now.
Thanks
