hello guys, i'm actually doing a logo and I need to do an effect something like from coca cola, attached here is the logo of coca cola but I just want only the gray dotted line, I dont know what is it called, but something like that I need to do with my design, whether it can be in photoshop or illustrator but much better if you know how it will be done in illustrator.

Can you try photoshop new version? if you were used so many designing software on net you can download and try it.

you should try checking on some of the free adobe brushes preset that can do it..

yes i agree.. you set tha color and the sizes of the brushes.. with some click of the brushes with the right sizes here and there, you can come up with this visual. you even do a pattern of your own.
