Default Small looks big

When making graphic buttons for web pages, it's often very difficult to make the text both readable and small enough to fit

on the button. This is particularly difficult when using light colored text against a dark background. The light text tends

to bleed into the background, like this:

Although that text is readable, it's far from being crisp and clear. The best option, of course, is simply to enlarge the

text. Sometimes that isn't feasible, though. In those cases, try this: Duplicate the text layer and then merge it down,

making the text doubly thick.

The text is much easier to reads this way...

Hope you like this trick

Default Website buttons

I use Macromedia Fireworks for graphics design and to create my website buttons.

When encountering a problem such as that, I tend to put a border around the text. If it is white text, I put a grey or black thin 1 px. border around it.

Not sure if this helps.
